Your best best is to hire somebody to run SEO on your website. There are many people out there but I had great luck with these guys and they were the most competitive price wise.

There are many different ways to market your website effectively but the most cost-effective one is by far search engine optimization.
The process of search engine optimization is simply the ability to take your website and turn it into a website that the search engines love. Search engines will then be able to not only index the different pages contained within your website but they will also be able to rank them high up in the search engine results.

Not sure why anyone would buy a website if they were not proficient in promoting one, but there are some good salesmen out there pushing websites. Next they are going to try getting you to spend more to buy visitors and drag you down to the point of desperation to cover your costs. If you haven’t figured it out yet, this is a scam.
well, there are a lot of strategies that you can use to promote your website. one that i recommend is through social media.
create accounts to social media sites or social sites such as Facebook, Multiply, MySpace. You can also try Digg, Delicious and Twitter.
For further discussion and details regarding these strategies login to http://www.sitesource101.com. All the resources you need in promoting your website and strategies in doing business online are there.
If you are not a great internet marketer then you should leverage whatever your strengths are – can you write? If so then create interesting content that other people will want to link to. Submit your site to social bookmarking sites and join relevant forums where you can post your websites URL in a signature.
Start learning the basics of SEO yourself but if it is too much then be prepared to hire a professional SEO/SEM
good luck
After an initial review of your SEO metatags, it is quite apparent that they do not exist and your doesn’t address a specific generic search query. Instead, provide entries which describe what you are selling/offering followed by where your business is located, i.e., Blackburn, Great Britain, United Kingdom, etc. in order to limit your territory or are you interested in soliciting business from the U.S.?
Here’s a helpful article from Google which you should incorporate into your opening webpage:
The most effective way to advertise on the Internet is
to first set up a website and publish its domain name
on major search directories such as Google.com,
Yahoo.com [at http://www.google.com/addurl/?...... and
MSN.com since 85% of Internet shoppers rely on these
search directories to provide them with goods and
services. In a sense, these search directories are a
very large Internet Yellow Pages.
Nevertheless, should your website or opening webpage
fail to contain "generic" keywords, then anyone using
such "generic" queries will not be able to discover
your website. Your domain name [URL] of your website,
in a sense, will be invisible, undiscoverable.
You may want to consider some simple algorithms which,
when observed and committed in designing of a website
with placement of various critical metatags that can
surely achieve a high search engine presence and
increase Internet traffic to your website. These
metatag strategies work well with published webpages
at Google and Yahoo.
Design: Should you create an extensive Flash-based
website, make sure to fill-in the property entries
such as the Title, Description and Keywords. Failing
to do so, leaves no hard HTML or ALT resource that can
be readily indexed by search robots. Also consider the
Internet audience and their incoming setup. For
example, if they are on analog/dialup, Flash webpages
take too long to load up and therefore analog users
will likely lose interest and discontinue entering the
Flash site. On the other hand, anyone on hi-speed DSL
lines, will welcome Flash pages which load quickly. So
before designing a pure Flash websitge, ask the simple
question, “Who’s my end user – is he on dialup or
DSL?” And if you had to choose between these two users
for maximum marketability, then select analog users
since 80% of most resident users are still analog
Internet subscribers and pure HTML designed webpages
is best for them.
A non-Flash-based website which relies on hard text,
is far easier to be indexed by search robots. Limit
the use of stylized text saved as .gifs since as a
graphic, they are not indexable by search robots.
Avoid use of frames since any number of search robots
are unable to properly classify textual material.
Placement of Metatags:
A ranking or search order does take place with Google
and Yahoo and it begins with the “Title” metag which
should consist of no more than 65 characters separated
by commas. The “Title” should describe in generic
terms, the goods and services, followed by a location
from which the resource is located, i.e., city, state.
The placement of a domain name which is not generic
within the “Title” is not appropriate, unless your
domain name is a major recognizable brand name.
The second metatag is the “Description” which is
usually 25-30 words to form a complete sentence which
best describes one’s goods and services.
And the very last category – “Keywords” are also
somewhat limited to 15-16 words which can be plural
and compound in nature. Again, avoid multiple entries
which could be mistaken as “spamdexed entries” which
is defined as the loading, and submission of
repetitive words into a particular metatag category.
“Spamdexing” when discovered on a webpage and reported
to Google’s spamreport.com can result in the
elimination of your website from their search
directory.
Good luck!
First thing is to get visitor numbers up. Have you got a stats. counter? This will tell you how many hits, where they come from etc. A good one is statcounter.com It is free and has an excellent forum. Has the site been well coded? This is most important, especially for the future. You will need TIME & EFFORT to get anywhere.
A site needs, as well as being well coded, optimised for search engines, site map and good, original content.Get that right first. Forget about link programs, affiliates etc. The main thing at the moment is visitor numbers and in particular targetted visitors, i.e visitors who are interested in your product or service. Have a look at http://www.ds32.com for guidence.
Another point, when you quote your URL it begins http:// otherwise it will not work!
Well, if you wanna get as much traffic as possible use these links

there is as much information as you can find useful for you. It will also give an idea of what you are getting into with online marketing. Very simple. Remember if that is not what you are looking for, you can always change your mind. Good luck!!!
