When you’re attempting to select exactly the niche that your business will fill, the best strategy is to make sure that you are familiar with what to do with the product, so you’ll feel much more familiarized in your niche & you will enjoy what you do. Are you able to come up with a product that would help or please the people in any way on this topic?
Is there anything that you can offer in this topic not already on the market today?
Make sure you always write your ideas down. With all the thinking & brainstorming you will be doing, you will be surprised how fleeting ideas are if you don’t put them on paper. Although some of them look rather odd when you write them down, when you delve into them, maybe they’ve much more potential than you first thought.

Listen carefully to their thoughts & opinions, & let them inspire you to further ideas & details. You might be surprised what people around you can think of who might never have crossed your mind.
The Internet is also a great tool in which you can do some research on an idea or product you might have in mine. You can check out sites of interest & potential competition. This will give you some good ideas about what’s out there & a good understanding of what people are really looking for
