    There is no quick and easy answer for that question. Online gambling is a very competitive industry so it will will be no suprise to you that companies spend hundreds of thousands a year on online marketing.
    Obviously it depends on your online strategy as to how much money you are looking to spend. Are you looking at PPC? SEO? Banner advertising? E-marketing? Brand marketing? Or all of these?
    Pay Per Click, although a very useful tool in it’s own right, can prove a very expensive method of marketing if it isn’t used in the correct manner. Make sure that you target the search tail to get maximum value from your money.
    SEO is obviously a massive sector in online marketing and this is where the majority of the budgets tend to go. Google recently stated in it’s Sales and Marketing Priorities 2008 that content is what it wants to concentrate on. This isn’t to say that you should ignore other aspects of SEO, such as meta tags, intelligent URL structures, HTML setup and plenty of links (both internal and external), but content is what is going to push the boat out.
    My advice…Concentrate on your target audience, analyse your traffic and where it comes from, make sure your SEO and PPC is targeted and relevant and monitor it to ensure this, and get plenty of unique keyword heavy relevant content on your site.
